I love little tchotchkes, ephemera, products/marketing of the past - it's a lot of what I'll be writing about as the months go on. In terms of hobbies, I love playing my bass, knitting, and looking at the ground. I spent the last five years as a self-employed artist, but am now a full-time seamster. Now that I don't have to hustle every waking moment of my life, I'm exploring art for fun and what it means to me. I feel like this website may act as a document for that. I'll touch on my work of the last five years at a later time.
I made this site because I'm interested in an online space that isn't social media. The ads, algorithms, and what have you are extremely tiring (I'm sure you understand). This page also gives me something to work towards, like a completed doodle or writing here and there.
I don't have a huge knowledge of coding so it has been a fun challenge and a treat to tinker away at this website in the evenings (it also gives me an excuse to sit in my warm bed after work every day.) The borders and titles on this site are either drawn by me, scanned from my typewriter, or scanned from a book. Since the structure is established, I'll try to update this site once a month.
